Official Neighborhood Pet Store Month

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

ACANA, maker of award-winning, biologically appropriate natural pet foods, invited us to help them celebrate independently-owned Pet Stores during the month of October.  

 

The bespoke experiences provided to these entrepreneur pet lovers included an original digital content-series, top pet influencer partnerships, customer sweepstakes, and a national mobile tour. 

 

We kicked-off the campaign with an emotional content series that featured the stories of 36 owners of independent pet shops. We also partnered with top pet influencers to help build and amplify the awareness of our campaign. Rubber really met the road when our mobile truck took to the streets for a cross country experiential tour. Our truck team brought the ACANA brand experience to life at dozens of independent pet stores with education, games, prizes, and of course tasty treats for our four-legged friends.


The program impact culminated when Congressman Comer (KY) spoke on the floor of the United States House of Representatives to honor the contributions of our local pet shop owners, and help get October officially proclaimed as “Official Neighborhood Pet Store Month.”
